The Myth of the Silver Bullet to Business Success
BML #102: Spoiler alert: No, there isn’t.
Why do you want a silver bullet?
Before you seek shortcuts, ask yourself why you want one. True entrepreneurship starts with a desire to solve problems and help people, not just to enjoy the perks like financial freedom, networking, or flexible schedules. You have to think about this question for a while and decide if you really want to be in this for the long-haul. It’s a fun grind.
The Reality of Running a Business
There’s no such thing as a “set it and forget it” business. A business is either active or it’s dying—it demands constant attention. You can read all the business books and study the masters, but true success comes from relentless focus and dedication.
